Hello from the road

The road ahead, Urbans Africa

Africa moves on the informal. The trotro, the danfo, the matatu already carry most of the continent's cities, with no timetable, no data, and cash that no one can trace.

We are not here to replace that network. We are here to give it a spine: digital payment on the mobile-money rails people already use, real-time tracking, and honest numbers for the people who do the work.

A station in Accra, where the work actually happens

Why Ghana first

Accra runs on the trotro, roughly 3.5 million trips a day. Mobile money is everywhere. The unions are organised. If the model works anywhere, it works here, and it is working: TrotroDigital is live in Accra today with driver wallets, QR and USSD fares, and a real-time map.

What this blog is for

This is our road log. Announcements, field notes from the stations, product updates and the occasional hard lesson. If you want the moments in pictures, the Wall of Street Memories keeps those.

One continent. One operating system for how it moves.
